Dale I. Reisen
Dale
I. Reisen has been in the fire service, emergency medical
services and emergency management business since 1983. He
currently holds the position of Battalion Chief for Estero Fire
Rescue in Fort Myers, Florida. He is also employed as a fire and
explosion investigator for the largest fire investigative firm
in the United States, EFI Global. He is President of Reisen
Commercial Safety Training and Staff Development, Inc., a safety
consulting company in Southwest Florida.
In 1998 he was awarded the State of Florida
Public Information Officer of the Year Award and in 2001was
awarded the State Fire Investigator of the Year Award by the
Florida Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association. He has been
awarded the State of Florida Governor’s Commendation Award for
his work during State emergencies while he was deployed in 1995
and 1998 by the State of Florida Emergency Management, Division
of Emergency Operations.
He has written numerous articles for
various publications and has served as a lecturer and trainer
for seminars and conferences on such topics as “Public
Relations and the Fire Service”, “Fire Investigation and the
Laws”, “Communication Failure”, “Command the Room for Public
Speakers” and “Filicide by Fire, Killing America’s Children”.
Matthew "Scott"
LaBree
Matthew
“Scott” LaBree has been actively involved in providing fire and
EMS services since early 1995. He began his career as a
volunteer firefighter for Elmer, NJ and as an EMT-B for the City
of Vineland; New Jersey’s largest city in terms of square
mileage. He currently holds the position of Lieutenant in
Operations for Estero Fire Rescue and has been an instructor and
safety consultant for Reisen Commercial Safety Training and
Staff Development, Inc. since 2005.
Scott honorably served in the United States Air Force Reserves
as a Medical Services Journeyman & EMT-B from 1996 through 2004.
He has completed a variety of intertheater and intratheater
aeromedical evacuation missions within the United States,
Germany, the Azores, Iceland, and Panama. In 2002, he received
his Associate in Science degree in Emergency Medical Services
Technology from Edison College.
He is a Florida certified Pump Operator, Fire Officer I, Fire
Service Instructor I, BLS Instructor, EVOC Instructor, and fire
safety clown. In addition, Scott is a member of the State of
Florida Task Force Six, Urban Search and Reach Team where he is
a Rescue and Heavy Rigging Specialist.
Todd Coulter
Todd
Coulter has been involved in fire and emergency medical services
since 1986. He got his start as a volunteer firefighter and
full time paramedic in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. He
currently holds the position of Division Chief of EMS for Estero
Fire Rescue and is an instructor for Reisen Commercial Safety
Training & Staff Development, Inc.
He has been in living in the Southwest
Florida area for several years and worked primarily as a flight
medic on an EMS helicopter before moving to Estero Fire Rescue.
He has worked part-time as an adjunct professor in EMS for
Edison College. He is also a member of the Champ Car World
Series Safety Team, which is responsible for providing rescue
services for the series worldwide.
He is a certified Fire Service Instructor
and Fire Officer. He holds a BA degree in Biology/Chemistry
from the University of North Texas and is currently working on
his MS in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern
University.
Joseph Gugliuzza

Joseph A. Gugliuzza has been employed by
the South Trail Fire Protection and Rescue Service District
since 1987. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant in
Operations and is an acting Battalion Chief. In addition, Joe
has held the positions of Fire Safety Inspector and Fire
Investigator.
He has received his Fire Officer I, Fire Safety Inspector II,
Fire Investigator II, and Fire Instructor III certifications
from the Florida State Fire College and is an eight-time
attendee of the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
He graduated with honors from Edison Community College with an
A.S. in Fire Science Technology and is a Magna Cum Laude
graduate of Hodges University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary
Studies.
He has served as an adjunct instructor in the Workforce Studies
Department of Edison State College since 1996. His teaching
emphasis focuses on the fire inspector and fire investigator
courses of study. Mr. Gugliuzza has been invited to teach by
several fire departments in the State and has served on a number
of promotional and hiring boards.
Mark Wahlig
Mark
Wahlig has been in the fire and emergency medical services
business since 1994. He currently holds the position of
Assistant Fire Chief for Estero Fire Rescue in Fort Myers,
Florida. He is also employed by Reisen Commercial Safety
Training and Staff Development, Inc. as a consultant and
instructor in Southwest Florida.
Since 1983, he
has worked as a computer technician specializing in hardware
program design and the application and development of web sites.
He is currently
certified as a Fire Service Officer I & II, Hazardous Material
Technician, Fire Service Instructor and Paramedic in the State
of Florida. He is a member of the State of Florida Task Force
Six, Urban Search and Reach Team as a certified technician in
all rescue disciplines.
Susan Lindenmuth

Susan Lindenmuth has been in the fire and
emergency medical services business since 2004. She currently
holds the position of Public Relations Manager for Estero Fire
Rescue in Estero, Florida. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Professional Administration and is currently completing her
Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in
Marketing.
Prior to joining the Estero Fire Rescue, Susan held the position
of Divisional Controller for a large, nationwide utility company
where she oversaw human resources, finance and training.
She is a certified firefighter and EMT in the State of Florida
and is a Fire Service Instructor III. She is a member of the
National Information Officers Association, International Fire
Photographers Association, Florida Fire Chief’s Association,
Florida Association of Special Districts and the Florida Public
Relations Association. Susan is a past member of Florida Task
Force Six, Urban Search and Rescue Team as a Technical Search
Specialist and a Canine Search Specialist.
